Old People and Forgotten Ministry: A Call to Action

The “Forgotten Ministry” campaign seeks to highlight and address the plight of elderly individuals in Uganda who, after spending their lives raising generations and contributing to society through taxes, are now left forgotten and helpless. A staggering 70% of the Ugandan population is under 18 years old, which may explain why the needs of the elderly have been overlooked by both the government and many organizations.

These elderly people, who are often weak, vulnerable, and without support, deserve to be cherished and appreciated. They are treasures in our lives, and it’s our responsibility to care for them in their time of need. We are joining hands to celebrate and honor these elderly individuals, thanking God for their wisdom, contributions, and lives. Though they may have no one to care for them, we can be their hands and feet, ensuring they feel loved and valued.

Why We Need Your Help:

Each of these elderly individuals has a unique and inspiring story that may make you laugh and cry at the same time. We are calling on believers and compassionate people to remember these elderly individuals, pray for them, and stand by them in their time of need.

How You Can Make a Difference:

You can support these elderly people in various ways, such as:

  • Sending a financial contribution to help with their basic needs.
  • Sharing your prayers and offering emotional support.
  • Visiting them in person to offer companionship and help them with their daily activities.

Together, we can bring hope to those who are forgotten, ensuring they feel the love and support they deserve. Let’s make a difference in their lives—because every elderly person deserves to live with dignity and love.
