The Orphan Crisis in Uganda
Uganda is currently home to nearly 3.4 million orphaned children, many of whom have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS, extreme poverty, and civil conflict. Tragically, Uganda has the largest orphan population per capita of any country in the world.
Dronias Hope For The Orphans Ministries is dedicated to supporting and empowering hundreds of orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda, helping them lead successful and productive lives. Our mission is simple: every child in Uganda deserves an education to become a healthy, productive member of their community, assume leadership roles, and make a positive impact on Ugandan society.
How Can You Help Africa?
There are many ways you can make a tangible difference in Africa and help improve the lives of vulnerable children:

- $10 – Provides five pairs of uniform socks.
- $20 – Buys one new uniform, including a project sweater and an orange t-shirt, which can last for one or two years.
- $115 – Sponsors a child for one month of primary school fees, including daily meals and medical care.
- $100 – Purchases five pairs of good-quality black leather school shoes.
- $13,800 – Provides food for all 230 children for one month, covering three meals per day.
- $150,000 – Secures land and funds the construction of two buildings to accommodate the current and future children, along with additional projects and sustainable food cultivation for the orphanage.
